  9. This font was created by Roman Arens. It's an old German handwriting as a 
  10. vector font!
  11.  
  12. Font Formats: - Adobe (Type 1 [pfa & pfb], Type 3, Bitmap)
  13.               - DMF (+ bitmap)
  14.               - Bitmap (Black&White)
  15.               - IntelliFont
  16.               - TrueType

  20. Der Sütterlin-Font entspricht der unter MS-Windows, aber auch
  21. auf Amiga und Archimedes verwendeten ISO-Norm. Anstelle des
  22. Dollar-Zeichens befindet sich jedoch das zusätzliche deutsche
  23. Schluß-S, das über die $-Taste aktiviert wird. Im von der ISO-Norm
  24. nicht verwendeten Bereich stellt er einige zusätzliche Zeichen 
  25. zur Verfügung:

  27. - Das $-Zeichen auf Position 130.
  28.  
  29. - Ein zusätzliches geschlossenes & auf Position 131.
  30.  
  31. - Anführungszeichen unten auf Position 132.
  32.  
  33. - Die lateinischen Vokale auf den Positionen 133 - 137 und 149 - 153.
  34.  
  35.   Durch Kombination dieser Zeichen mit Akzenten lassen sich die 
  36.   europäischen sprachspezifischen Sonderzeichen generieren.

  38. - Die lateinischen Ziffernzeichen I, V, X, L, C, D, M auf den
  39.   Positionen 135, 138, 139, 140, 146, 147 und 156.

  41. - Die lateinischen Ziffernzeichen i, v und x auf den Positionen 151, 
  42.   154, 155.
  43.  
  44. - Die lateinischen Buchstaben A, B, C, D, E für Aufzählungen auf den
  45.   Positionen 133, 145, 146, 147 und 134.

  47. - Die im Deutschen sehr ähnlichen lateinischen Buchstaben B, C, L auf

  64. How to submit your handwriting!
  65.  
  66. 1. Get a piece of (white) paper and write every single letter down, which you'd
  67. like to see in the finished product. This may consist only of the alphabet 
  68. or you could add the numbers and other signs. The more characters you submit
  69. the better. Have a look at your Amiga manual, where you can see the 256 ASCII
  70. Set. If you submit all of them, it would be best of course! 
  71.  
  72. 1a. Don't use a pen, that will vary the width of the writing. This happened
  73. with this font, it's makes it very individual but may look strange in a 
  74. text.
  75.  
  76. 2. If you don't own a scanner or don't have access to one THEN GOTO 5
  77.  
  78. 3. Scan in the paper. The larger the characters and the better the resolution
  79. of the scanner the better the final output will be.
  80.  
  81. 4. Save each character as an IFF/GIF/PCX file and give each file a good
  82. filename as a description. Best would be to use the ASCII code, e.g. 
  83. the 'A' would be saved in '065.iff'.
  84.  
  85. 5. Send me your artwork, either on paper or disk and I'll try to create a
  86. nice font out of it. You can also add some nice little graphics. Do whatever
  87. you like! If you have created a font yourself already, then why not send
  88. it in!
